WarCry Network Announces New World of Warcraft Database

System Integrates Player-Submitted Data, User-Friendly Interface

DURHAM, NC – August 3, 2005 - WarCry Network announced today the debut of their new, comprehensive World of Warcraft Database (WoW DB). In development since December 2004, and actively collecting since May, WoW DB boasts a user-friendly interface, accurate data display and a game client AddOn, affectionately named Scout, for extended in-game features.

/whoah.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'(wow)\' />, Blizzard's wildly successful massively multiplayer game, WoW DB is constantly updated using data provided through its accompanying game client AddOn, Scout. Some of the features include robust NPC and monster locations with pinpoint maps, game-consistent color coding of items, clear Elite-creature notations, and a consistent data system resulting in low data errors. By installing the free add-on, Scout, players will benefit from many in-game features, such as the ability to highlight vendors, trainers, transportation, mailboxes and more. Scout is also the backbone for WoW DB, collecting real-time data for monster and NPC locations, loot drops, quests, item statistics and more.

"We set out to deliver one of the most robust WoW databases available," said Jason Smith, Director of WarCry Network Operations. "We accomplished this by thinking outside of the box and adding features that no other database to date has offered. By using player- contributed data, the community can benefit from a broad sampling of data, as well as some added perks yet to come."

"In the near future," continued Smith, "visitors to the site will be able to store their own profile and see every piece of information about all of their characters' statistics, inventories, and even professions. There will even be an option of storing their completed quests and kill statistics."
