Yep another one, maybe not quite as good as the RX7 vector I did before, but i\'ve spent much less time on this.
Anyway, enjoy and please comment with suggestions etc. <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/good.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'(Y)\' /> <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... #>/yes.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'(nod)\' />

looks very nice so far. from the lighting it looks like the car is floating on the right side of the picture...or i just need more mountain dew =p

a couple things just really bother me about it... like the places that don\'t have enough detail imo.. Good job though. <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' /> Looks great. and it\'s yeller! =D

Uh, didnt you watch bathurst? You should *really* be vectoring something along the lines of a blue oval <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... igwink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' /> I agree with redrum, it does look like its floating a tad, but is a WIP so its understandable. Cant wait to see the final image Marko <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

white behind tires
back tires seem like they need more detail
the floating effect it gives on the right side up front <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />
...too tired to think of more.

Being a WIP I'll refrain from noting the lack of details etc.

As to the "floating" effect, I believe it's due to the driver side tire not being visible at all.

At the angle that you placed the "camera", so to speak, you should be able to view part of the tire as it makes contact with the floor/ground.

Also, perhaps fading out the shadow "fall-off" so it's not so dark near its edges may also lend to the proper percpetion you're going for, here.

Still, a nice very nice piece, thus far.

yep your correct v Man, I haven\'t done the front left tyre thats why it looks like its floating.
I may do some more work tonight, but i\'m really busy with handing up assignments and getting ready for my final exams (wohoo <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />) so this piece may take a while.

well since its a holden, and since they finally made the [vauxhall] monaro available over here, it\'s all good!

agreed with some earlier comments, but I think on the whole it\'ll look great when done!

good job!

[Finished front and rear rims, still need to work on tyre quality, fixed the little white spaces between the wheel and wheel arch, changed the colour of the car to red <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />, and thats about it for now]

This looks muuuuch better. It\'s not making me ask any questions like before (e.g. where is the tire in the front? Is the back supposed to be non-detailed? etc...)

Ok well since I don\'t have the internet for use all of the time , i\'ve finally decided to finish this vector.
Quite happy with the way its worked out, I would even go as far as to say that it\'s better than the Rx7 one I did before.

Well anyway, here it is, enjoy.
