Staff Email using Mozilla

For all those who use their staff email regurarly, or those like me who didn't because webmail sucks - here is your solution! Mozilla Thunderbird, Mozilla's FREE email client, means that you can access your email from your desktop using a brilliant program instead of "Squirrel Mail"

Setting Up Thunderbird
1. Download Mozilla Thunderbird (FREE) from http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/
2. Install onto your computer
3. Open, and "Create a new account"
4. Enter in your display name (whatever you want) and your email address (staffname@killagraphix.com or yourname@yoursite.killagraphix.com)
5. Make sure that "POP" is selected, and enter "webmail.killagraphix.com" as your incoming mail server
6. Username is the username for your email, it should automatically fill that out
7. Account name - whatever you want
8. Finish

9. Now go to the "Get Mail" icon, and it should say connecting to webmail.killagraphix.com
10. It will ask for your password - this is the same one that you use to access your webmail. If you don't know it, or need a new one, PM one of the admins or get us in msgr/chat. Make sure that you tick "Remember this password"
11. Done&#33; You can now add more accounts <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

The advantage of this is that you can access all your webmail accounts (not possible with gmail as far as I know) from one program, that runs off your desktop. Its got a nice interface, and imo more options and features than outlook.

There is a program called Hotmail Popper, which lets you use hotmail and thunderbird, but it has a 100 email limit, before the trial ends&#33; However, it works REALLY well so it might be worth the &#036;17 <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
