We know some of you have been waiting patiently for us to announce the date for Digital Storm LAN 2008, and we are pleased to announce that we are now able to do so.
This year's date is August 1, 2nd and 3rd. We can't announce the location yet as we haven't signed the final contract. We can tell you that it will be in the City of Vancouver (BC -- Canada), it will be near skytrain rapid transit, and there will be room for more than 300 gamers. We can also tell you that it will be reserved seating, so any of you who are on Counter Strike, Gears of War or Call of Duty 4 teams will have to buy your tickets in a block. We will not be able to otherwise guarantee team seating. The same applies to any other groups of gamers who want to sit together at the LAN.
We will be opening the newly re-designed Digital Storm LAN website within the next week, where you will be able to stay up to date with what's going on, download all of your forms and of course purchase your tickets. We may be offering several locations where you will be able to purchase tickets, that has yet to be confirmed.
Are you ready for 48 hours of rabid, hardcore gaming? Are you ready for the Combat Zone? Are you ready for Digital Storm 2008?
