Software System

Hey,

Ive been thinking about the art project and been thinking if i should use my programming skills to produce a software system which users can view artwork via a gallery style system and will have links to purchasing the prints etc or whatever we decide to end up with, the reason for a software system is i can produce an "environment" for browsing our artwork which would be unique to us only and i could allow users to pick their favourite pieces of art and use it as a screensaver (which ill also produce and hook in), i can replicate some of the functionality from the website and make it more hooked into the windows desktop.

Just an idea, suggestions welcome

I like it, however we need to code the site first...

I like the idea, but can you explain it better? How would it be different from just using a browser? Would it pass Sean's testing?

what do you mean by seans testing? lol

im open to any ideas of what the app could do, the ideas i have so far is the ability to browse, view the images in slideshows as a screensaver

lol he means things like will it be safe against:

remote file inclusions, code injections, buffer overflows, heap stack overflows, dos errors, if your wanting to add a buy feature the data passed will have to definately be of strong and preferably an original encryption alg... etc

plus i gotta check for backdoors:p heheh and all that without seeing your original source code it's fun
