I\'m trying to figure out how to make the clip thingy on it... So you can like hook it on your paper and stuff. Any C4D\'ers *cough*tibs*cough* could assist me please? <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... iggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

Well here\'s my reply <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... iggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

1. create a cylinder radius 100 height 50

2. delete the upper and bottom polygons

3. close the holes up using the close polygon tool

4. use inner extrude to make a thin border

5. bridge both sides to each other

6. select 2 polygons on the side

7.extrude them

8. make the points match

9. go back to polymode and extrude them again.

10. select the other 2 poly\'s and extrude.

The rest is just the same thing over and over.

Ow and use the Knife tool where you need stronger edges, but i thinkg you knew that already <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... igwink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />

I like. Now just add in the really fine detail, e.g. a tip and the ball thing at the very end of the tip.

Yeh and maybe add a small sorta texture onto the white eraser at the top of the pen.

Looks very nice <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/good.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'(Y)\' /> allthough you have some artifacts in your render.

Try setting the min and max resolution to about 50 and 350 <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... igwink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />

meh, I\'m not worried about rendering textures.. At the moment I\'m just focusing in modelling techniques <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
