Fractal Brushes in PS

hey, i've been trying to figure out how to make those fractal brushes you see on deviant art - i use them a lot and was wanting to make my own set....i realise fractal brushes vary greatly but i cant get anything remotley similar.
i tried using the basic brushes in ps to draw them and also selecting odd sections of gradient from some of my abstract bryce work - no luck.
so -any ideas?

you remember the surreal fire wp i did a few weeks ago? that was made using fractal brushes....fractals are basically to me squiggles, but those squiggles look really good when layererd and colors changed. if you look in the ps brushes on devart you should see many fractal brushes.

go to the apophysis website and donload the program, its a fractal generating program, the export you images to PS, desaturate them, invert the colours so white is the BG and black is the colour of the brush and save it as a brush preset, <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... iggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />
