I've been trying to find a database to add to my site, at first I just thought to add the IBP Gallery, but I dont know if it will do what I really want, I still have to look into it more,, surfing google the best thing I saw that I really wanted was on this site;
Plant Database
Needless to say I cant find another site/program like it so I dont know if he made it or if its a download,, thing is hes only a few miles from my place and I've tried to talk to him,, long story short,, that guy wont even return a phone call,, (kinda rude).
I'm thinking maybe my search isnt useing the right words, is it easy to make a database like this? or should I keep searching?,, What I really want is to be able to skin it to match the rest of my site, like Invision, and add our own index information
Any Ideas?

This is most likely custom made for the site. I still don\'t quite get what your trying to do, are you trying to build a gallery of images/descriptions for a site? I\'d suggest looking at places like hotscripts and see if there is anything there for download.

Thanks for the link Vu|ture, I'll check it out,
Yes thats what I want to do is add a page to the site so people can go to it and search for the plant or plants, click it and be able to see all the information about that plant,, also be able to see if we have it in stock ... what I really liked about the one I posted is you can search by Hort or common name and it gives a drop down menu of the plants by letter/name, once you find that plant you can see all the information about it.

Try searching around hotscripts for something like that, although it is a pretty specific requirement which would usually be custom made.

WOW after 4 weeks they returned my call.. turns out they first made that engine to resell but after 4 years no one ever wanted anything like it,, untill I came along!,, I guess what happens now is the programer is going to talk to the owners and see what they want to do,, so cross your fingers...
I spent alot of time on hotscripts, and theres tons of stuff on there,, but I couldnt find what I was looking for,, If it was there (and I'm sure it was) I wouldnt know what it was because I dont know what they call something like that...LOL
