My Board

We attended ARTmageddon at the Art Institute of Vancouver today, and I will be posting some articles about the lectures I attended as well as posting some photos, but the BIG news of the day is that they also had a LAN Tournament happening. Mike competed in NFS: Carbon on the 360, Company of Heroes on PC and Counter Strike: Source on PC. He finished in the top 10 on NFS: Carbon and won a copy of the game for PC, he then competed with PUGs on Company of Heroes and Counter Strike: Source. His teams placed first in both competitions. The winning team members for Company of Heroes were presented with a copy of the game for PC as well as $100.00 each. The winning team for Counter Strike: Source received $150.00 each, so it was a very rewarding day for him. We also had people from the Art Institute browsing around the KillaNet sites, which was very cool as I gave them a \"cyber tour\" of what we are doing and of what we are trying to accomplish. It was a very good event, over-all, and as I said, articles and photos will be posted over the next few days. /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

Congratulations Mike on the wins, and some photos etc. should be interesting. I play CS: Source, but am a Loyal CS 1.6 fanboy. Ive played Carbon once or twice also. /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
