[attachment=2615:attachment] This is my primary Character, Glade NightStorm, outside Ascalon with his Chaos Axe. Yes, a Ranger with a glowing Axe and +14 Armor Buckler. Got some interesting comments from the various party members on my journies across the continent. [attachment=2616:attachment] And now, here we see Glade sporting a stylish set of Drakescale Armor, providing this lvl20 Ranger with a much-needed +70 Armor, and extensive Health bonuses thanks to the Rune of Superior Vigor that was discovered in the Desert. His weapons of choice now include a Fiery Halfmoon Of Shelter, and a Poisonus Longbow Of Fortitude, which, thanks to various weapon upgrades, now provide Glade with both a Health and armor bonus, as well as allow him to pick off dozens of Charr from a safe distance (leaving them wondering where all these damn arrows are coming from).

Doesn't a glowing axe make it harder to sneeeeeeeeeeeak through the levels?

oh wait, I'm the only one who sneeeeeaks the rest of you just charge right in...I'll take some weapon pix later, if I remember.

Don't let jer know you use an axe on a ranger >.<

He was the one I took the capture for... he had not seen the axe and wanted to.

PFFF *slaps jer for telling me not to use axes and crap and then not tell NS the same* >.<

you can use any weapon on any class.... but if you use one specific to you, you will achieve much higher damage output.

like if ns used a bow say dmg 15-28 (req 9 marksmanship) he would hit each time, guarenteed for at least 15 dmg. no skills.

BUT if he was using a chaos axe 6-27 (req 8 tactics) ...nuh. he gets nothing. min hit is 1

...or so i believe?

I was averaging about 20 per hit with the axe, on the same monster I was scoring 112 with the bow.
I'm up to 140 per hit with the bow on low-level creatures (charr et al) now, but have since sold the axe for 8p.
