[url=\"http://ndnoise.free.fr/\"]NDNoise[/url] is a Java-based freeware that enables to remove noise in digital images.

Features in version V0.4:

* load / save multiple image with the same filter tuning
* multiple image format support : PNG, JPEG, GIF, ... (prefer lossless PNG compression !)
* 3 sliders tuning for basic use : noise removal, dots/spots/lines smoothing, retexturing
* direct visualisation of filtering effect by alternate visualisation
* differential view for filtering control
* zoom in/out at any level

Latest improvements:

* Post sharpening
* Partial evaluation for fast preview

Planed features for future version :

* Exif infos preservation
* batch processing
* saving with JPEG quality tuning (please, don't use JPG for high quality images !)

NDNoise is free to use for private and not commercial purposes. For any other purposes, thanks to contact Etienne directly (see readme.txt file for address info).

Important : if you don't have a Java machine installed on your machine, NDNoise will prompt you to download and install JRE 1.4.2
