Halo 2

Results for Halo 2 will be posted as soon as I find the paper they're written on. I don't have enough energy to look through the box all of the registrations are in. /blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Other prize results, event overview and photos will be posted tomorrow, after I get some /sleep3.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='(zz)' />

I would however, like to send out a huge thank you to Eccentricity and The Persian from LANcouver for the incredible job they did helping out at Digital Storm, as well as Tech from LANcouver for lending us the network cables - and to ShowCall Temporary Power and Trinity Power Corporation for providing the power management which kept us running - it became obvious how invaluable their services were when too many people plugged into the wall sockets instead of the power boxes /annoyed.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Many thanks also to D-Link GamerLounge for all of the network equipment, especially the 3 Layer Switch which made things so much easier to get running.

And of course, the biggest thank you to Digital Storm's team of volunteers. Thank you for giving your time, knowledge and good humour. The event couldn't have happened without you.

Thank you to Andrew Henderson for running the CS tournaments.

Congrats to everyone and thanks for a great first year of Digital Storm! /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Yes congratulations to everyone including Ada for organizing this event /good.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='(Y)' />

I'm very proud of Tami for what she has accomplished. There are so many things we can all learn from her.
I just wish I could have been more help, as this was a massive undertaking.

Congrats Tami for an awesome job well done!!

I agree Tami did a wonderful job on the planning and putting together of this great event. Even though this place was well out of my traveling distance i would have loved to been there..And what is this...theres no emoticon for clapping....Oh well Great job Tami. I bet your glad to have it off your chest /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Yes... now that DSL 2006 is off Adaera's chest, it's time to start planning 2007...

Thank you all

Shy, you helped by holding down the fort at the office and running interference when needed, helping with 'the paper towel incident' and taking those extra loads of supplies, and for watching the door while I took bigsby, clay and dday back to the ferry. That's very much appreciated.
