Ok I started a new vector image of a ford falcon xr8, and I came up with a few problems, so i was wandering if you fade images into each other , use gradients or would it not be considered a vector? Anyway heres a pic of the start. [attachment=2095:attachment]

Vector graphics are meant to have strong, crisp lines which would be lost if you feather your colours together. You can edit the anchor points to get colours to meet up.

Indeed; I do believe you can use gradients as your colors too, but I\'m not a fan of gradients in vector images. /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

Ok thanks. I was wondering about the gradients and stuff because the car that I have chosen has very complex lighting to vector so yeh, using gradeints should help. Anyway heres an update, mostly worked on fixing the bumper and added the front wheel, so far the only gradient used is the white bit above the arch of the wheel. [attachment=2099:attachment]

wow good job on the tire and the gradient, Hoax; there\'s improvement in your vectorizing, the practice is showing /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

looking good... windsheild is looking a bit wobbly on the lines though. Really good update.

Vast improvement, HoaX /biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

I can see a couple of areas where the edges are a bit wobbly, but overall, your work on this is very impressive /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

Thanks lol /biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

Yeh I looked at my 300zx vector and then this one... I was totally blown away at how \"noob\" the 300zx looked. So I might do that one again.
The wobbly lines, i\'ll most probably fix them but last night I was too tired so I called it a final /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

Idea; Would you post the other one that looks so \"noob\"? Just to see a comparison if you don\'t mind. I haven\'t seen the other I don\'t think. /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
