Can someone show me how to change the skin of my computer personally without using anyway fancy programs except notepad?

Right-click on an empty area of your desktop, and select \"Properties\".
The first tab that opens (with XP anyway) will be Themes... the tab next to it is for your Desktop Background Picture, assuming that is all you want to change. Otherwise, you select a Theme from the dropdown.

i think he means by changing the whole theme... like theres winxp theme and old windows theme. he wants a different theme without using any programs that do it...
