My Board

ok so after cleaning the hdd I got inspired to try linux, so i partitioned a small space for it (5gb) and installed, now i wan't to get on the net but i can't seem to do so, it creates some type of network but that doesnt do anything. I have a d-link 302g dsl modem(if that helps) and I used a usb conenct, I even tried ethernet but stilll nothing, so can anyone help me with this as I am a total noob with Linux /blum.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

OK but i ran into a new problem lol. See during instalation i chose the wrong graphics card so I have a maximum resolution of 800x600.. anyone know how I can change whichgraphics card i have?
