Well, I\'ve been pondering on this since we acquired CES. Basically instead of us using the PSO chat server, why don\'t we make a KN one? Mainly, it would give us another way to get KNs name out there. Obviously there are the downsides in that it would be a bit of extra work to manage, etc.

Just an idea, any opinions on this?

well to change the network name on ircd just have to change it in the conf, no need to make a new server /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> and there is irc.killanet.net but its just a redirect to irc.pso.com, maybe make it irc.PSO-killanet.net so both names are on there...?

More servers running means less IPs available. Edd never paid the $25 beforehand that would allow us to purchase other IPs.
We could, on the other hand, reimage the current server... that, as opposed to a rebuild and a move, would only take a few minutes and a rehash.

What\'s reimage and does it cost any money?

Plus, what about the extra bit Edd\'s paying for an irc?

Yes, this is the problem. As far as it goes, PSO is Edd server, not KN\'s. What I was talking about is a KN server. However, the IP thing never crossed my mind.
