How fast time flies when you're surrounded by a great bunch of friends. While I realize it is actually GraphixGround's first birthday, and while we may now be KillaNet Technology Ltd., at heart we are still GraphixGround, with the original mission statement and goals still in place.

While we may have branched off on our own with the closing of TCN, I have remained friends with err0r, and it's nice to know we can still poke fun at each other despite all of the other events going on around us. By the way err0r, the term is waterbroom, not mop.

The past year has seen us grow from a site with one forum to a full Network with a myriad of sites and projects. While some of these are still hidden from public view as they are developed, they will be revealed over the coming weeks. We took an idea and a philosophy and have continued to develop them. Not too long ago we celebrated our first contract for pay which ner0 and Vulture have been working on and are nearing completion of. We are seeing more opportunities open up for us in the way of professional designing, coding and programming; it is truly amazing what such a diverse group of talented, creative people living around the globe can do when they work together.

It has not been an easy year for us; we have seen some staff leave, and others join us. We've had our servers attacked, destroyed, and we've moved a few times as well. We've gone through adversity, animosity, small disagreements and a few big disagreements as well. We have gone through growing pains and adjusted to new situations, yet through it all we have stuck together like the creative crew we are.

It is through our support of one another and our underlying friendships that we have made it to this, our first anniversary. I would like to say how proud I am of the various KillaNet Crews: our designers, site scripters, programmers, gamers, forum & chat staff, the rest of our Administration team, and of course teh server g0d, NightStorm who has seen us through every step of our first year's journey. It amazes me sometimes that he has any sanity left at all. Actually, anyone watching the staff in chat would wonder if any of us are sane-which probably led to one of the slogans we sometimes use: Lacking Sanity.

Thank you to us3rX for the Anniversary banner, it's awesome. (if you don't see it, hard refresh your browser once or twice to clear your cache.) I also would like to thank our members for helping us grow, sharing their work and experiences on the forum and in chat. As we bring our first year to a close, I look forward to many more years of learning, sharing and "Creative Inspiration" at KillaNet Technology.

I joined GraphixGround around about the same time I got my domain (frozenplague.net) in april. I can't remember who gave me the address or what made me come here in the first place, but I have enjoyed it ever since.

Well Happy B-day. I think I joined quite early cause someone we all know asked me if I wanted to be a moderator on this forum he started up with some other friends of his. I didn't think I would do much but I soon came to realize It was suite fun helping out people and developing my own skills. I feel very gratefull I can still be a part of this "organization" .

If one year ago, when GraphixGround was started - myself bing an utter graphics (no change there) and coding n00b, if I was to guess what GG could have evolved into in the space of a single year I would never in my wildest dreams came up with this. Through all thats happened, both the good and the bad, I'm ecstatic about the progress of a very small group with only 1 active site.

May the next 365 days prove equally productive, and lets all be here this time next year with a bigger and better second birthday.

I started out visiting the graphixground chatroom, after being told by ruff that that's where quite a few of the old tcn crew went... I popped in every now and then because it was a great place to chat, and I knew most of the people from past experiences so I knew back then that graphixground was a great place to be, eventually I let ada know that I was interested in helping out on the forums or whatever... and it's all gone from there for me.

It is amazing how much kn has evolved, even transformed while i've been around... It started out for me as just something to occupy my time on the net, but now it's more than that /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Well I managed to get Adaera on messenger (FINALLY!) since I was a TCN host in #Helpdesk and when TCN died I talked to her for a bit and she told me she had a project she was working on and there would be a place for me...... Finally she told me the URL to the site and been here ever since. I started out as a mod in the flash section and moved up to Network Staff and then into the KillaNet Programmers category.. yahdeyahdeyah... now I'm here posting this etc etc etc.. /blum.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />
