My Board

There's so much I have to say,
But I don't know where to start,
I don't know which way,
To express the pain within this heart.

I can't even look you in the eye;
Without choking on my words.
So I have to think up a lie,
That isn't so absurd.

You never wanted to notice,
You never wanted to see,
You never wanted to miss,
Somebody as insignificant as me.

So then you just pretend,
That you don't even hear me;
Somehow this has got to end,
Maybe then you'll finally see.

It's hard to fall in love,
With someone you hardly know,
But I can easily shove myself,
Until I finally let go..

You never wanted to notice,
You never wanted to see,
You never wanted to miss,
Somebody as insignificant as me.

You see right through me;
As if I weren't even there.
You don't even notice how I can be,
So incomplete when you don't care.

I'll just keep going unseen,
And I'll just keep my lips silent.
So you'll never know exactly what I meant by;
all you could have meant.
