How about something like this? Simple and easy.
The Banner is 210pxl x 100pxl. Made it blend in.

Ok, just saw the image. Vulture: Don't even try to fix those images and stuff.... You can just use PNG Alpha to make it so you do not have to line up the background diagonal lines. That's how I got the header shadows to work right without working with the background lines. All it would require is a freshly opened PSD with the background diagonal lines removed and then you use the semi-transparent shadow and save as PNG
Yeah, hence me moaning at you for not putting then on the CVS. <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> IE6 doesn't do alpha transparency though, so we'll need to think about a fix for that.

Looks good, but are we using the phoenix?

That's pretty cool. Not a fan of the way the font was done though.

I like them both lol

Yes, we can use the phoenix, in small doses, just to keep the corporate look somewhat uniform - but I do like both of the background designs, with the right font they both look great.

First and only time you will ever hear/see me say this.... Marko I think your's is too white <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

I would try and fade the EXTREME white just a bit so it's a little off... make it the same color as the divs that are a little off white... hard to tell, but enough to be able to tell.

Tibs, I think maybe smaller pixelations, and putting the words inside the pixelations and not on top? It's too ... deep? maybe...? something. I think that's why I don't like the top layer.... not completely sure though.

Of course my opinions don't count for much... ask hers^^^^ and I can't do graphix too well. Good job on both! just my two cents.

could also maybe do a combination of both images, maybe the phoenix on top of the pixilations?
Love is all a matter of timing.

It's no good meeting the right person too soon or too late.

If I'd live in another time or place...

...my story might have had a very different ending.

lol I didn't think we were going to use the phoenix just because the phoenix is all over these forums (KillaNet Community) and graphixground and killanet are two different sites... Just killanet is a parent to graphixground. :\ *is feeling confused... is so tired*

edit; Forgot to say... Nice job on both of them.... Nothing really striked me as "We are GraphixGround!" lol I did like the way Hoax (I think it was hoax... I have no idea) made that button type thing that said "GraphixGround." It just needs to be more uniform with the other curves that are implented into the layout which wouldn't be hard to do....

I may just be picky for some reason... I dunno. lol. If I'm being picky, ignore me <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

How about this design? I'm quite happy with it. It's yet another simple one, because I don't think it should be a complex design.
