Hello; I had someone in the KillaGraphix IRC Channel ask me about how to save your renders into images viewable by PC\'s. I know that when I first started with Cinema 4D I had to go to our local C4D expert, Tibs, and he showed me how to save them; before I went to him I spent at least 2 hours trying to figure out how to save them though. I\'m here to save those new beginning Cinema 4D users some time by sheding some light on how to save your renders. So-- enough rambling, let\'s get onto the tutorial!

º Cinema 4D Render Settings
Now this is the first way I learned how to save my renders. It\'s a little bit longer, but not to worry I will show you a shorter way next. So let\'s open up the C4D options. You can reach them by going to Render > Render Settings (CTRL + B)
Once you\'re in the render settings you\'ll see a list on the left side of the newly opened window. Find \"Save\" and click it.
Great clicking technique! Really! *stops being funny* Okay, you are now in the render setting\'s save section. This is where you can specify where you want your new image to be located at and what image file type it will be. So let\'s go ahead and make sure the \"Save Image\" option is ticked and click the \"Path\" button to pick a path for your image. This may be confusing, but type in what you want to name your render into the \"File Name\"\" editbox and click \"Open\". Once you have a path and name selected for the render go to the drop down that says \"Format\" and select the image type you want.
There are many other options in this section of the render settings, but I am not going to go into detail with them; Maybe in another tutorial.
Congratulations! You now can have your renders save to the path you selected with the format you have chosen! All you have to do is go to Render > Render to Picture Viewer\" (Shift + R)
º Cinema 4D Picture Viewer
As I promised here is the fastest way to save your renders as images. It\'s probably the easiest way also and I know that personally I like this mothod more than the previous method.
Now the last step of the previous method was to go to Render > Render to Picture Viewer (Shift + R). Let\'s do this again and allow our scene to complety render.
Once your scene is rendered, go to \"File > Save Picture As...\".
Select a file format for your render from the \"Format\" dropdown box. Once you have that completed click the \"OK\" button.
You will now be prompted to type in a file name into a windows save dialog and find a folder to put the image in. Once you have that done you can hit the \"Save\" button to save your image.
