Seeing as the deadline is close and no-ones replied or entered, i made a photoshop brush set to help those out who use that program. you can use the 10 brushes to make an entire wallpaper, use one or just get an idea of what you could do if your stuck.

all very good points....there are so many flip sides to this.
shy your right about submissions but the alternative - in my mind - is to introduce a rating system on the download site and have that overal rating figure reflected under our names etc....although that also relies on participation ...

why not keep it simpler:

maybe teh avatar comp wont clutter things up - i remember i thought things were cluttered when the wp comp was added but it was an easy adjustment to make.

i like the idea of splitting the competition (wallpapers) in two. my only thoughts are:
1. will level 1 still have to comply with the current guidelines? (all work in the wp has to be original)
2. for level 2 wallpapers could we extend the time that competition runs to say at least two weeks? maybe ...
